Frame Worlds content policy
Frame Worlds is a wholesome place. These rules hold in every world, public or private, listed or opened by link.
The rules
- No sexual content or nudity. Nothing sexual and no nudity, including suggestive poses, animations, emotes and avatars built to look undressed. Frame Worlds has no adult or private-world exception.
- No gore. No realistic blood, mutilation, dismemberment or dead bodies shown for shock. Cartoon knock-outs in a game are fine; lingering on injury is not.
- No hate or harassment. No attacks on people for who they are: race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or anything like it. No hate symbols. No bullying, stalking, threats or following someone who has blocked you.
- No real-money gambling. No betting, casinos, loot boxes or raffles for money, crypto, gift cards or anything that can be cashed out. Games of chance for fun, with nothing of value at stake, are fine.
What they cover
- Worlds: their scenes, textures, sounds, scripts and the words on them.
- Screens in worlds: whatever a world plays on them, from any site, live or not.
- Avatars: what they look like, and every expression and emote they carry.
- Names, chat and voice.
When something breaks them
- Report it from the wrist menu (Report). A moderator reads every report.
- A world or avatar that breaks them is suspended: no client loads it, by link or from the list. A player who breaks them can be suspended too. Either way the player behind it gets a strike, which puts their account back to the first trust level. A moderator can also give a player a strike as a warning, with nothing suspended.
- A listed world is reviewed by a person in VR before it is listed, and pinned to the files that person saw. The automatic checks at submit only check that a world is well formed.
- Voice is never recorded, so a voice report is who, when and where.
Reporting a security problem
Found a way a world, an avatar or a script could harm players, their headset or their PC? Or a hole in Frame Worlds itself? Tell us privately first, so it can be fixed before anyone uses it.
Write to admin@pcbgames.com. Say what you found and how to reproduce it. A world or file that shows it helps.
Do not test on other players or their accounts. Machine-readable: security.txt.
